Beeps while driving

I Just bought this used 2003 Pontiac Montana and on the test drive it beeped continually while driving in forward or reverse. It doesn't beep while in Park with engine on. It seems like the beeping noise is coming from the back. Started the next day and all is well.

My van did this aswell, you must have a power sliding door, when it is not latched properly this warning goes off but it won't say on your message center "door ajar". Stop and reopen the door and close it again no more bell. good luck.

Sounds like someone installed an after market back-up warning device that may have become defective.
Other beeping when driving could be the signal light reminder to turn it off.....but this doesn't usually come on until aprox 3 mins after signal light is left flashing.

Wat size socket do I use to remove power steering pump on 2000 Pontiac Montana

Do you have the pump drive pulley off yet?
Remove the drive belt, remove the 3 mounting bolts (15mm) by using a socket ththrough the holes in the drive pulley. Remove the upper intake manifold to give elbow room, slide off the rubber return hose, remove the pressure line and lift out the pump. Just reverse the process to instill the new pump. And fill with the proper fluid.

I have a beeping noise when I turn on van or turn it off. It beeps like 5 times tthat's it. What would that be? Drive a 2006 pontiac montana

I would need to hear the noise to tell you what It might be for sure. Does it have an aftermarket alarm system maybe? if so the beeps may be the signal it is armed/disarmed. If it only beeps and no other issue then just drive it and leave it alone.

We recently purchase a 2005 kia sedona and when put in reverse it beeps sometimes continued beep till put in drive( no back up camera) can anyone tell me if this is normal or why it does this?

talk with a service centre but it would not be unusual for the vehicle to have a reversing alarm fitted especially if the alarm stops on selecting forward gears

We recently got a 2001 Pontiac Montana. When you shift out of park there is a beeping noise coming from the rear of the vehicle by the hatch. We have made sure all doors and hatch are securely closed and...

yes the muffler is located on the back of the car, have some one put the car on drive and try to look at the rear of the car listen for the sound.
