2005 pontiac grand prix. Replaced the motor car wont start. Replaced cam sensor and the crank sensor. Car gets fuel but no current. Still wont start

  • Anonymous Aug 19, 2009

It only has one solid connection with 13 wires going into the module. There is no injector pulse. Computer hook up showed no indication as to why car wont start

2005 grand prix wont start?

If you deffinitely have fuel and spark then it must be a timing issue.

It's ok have fuel & spark but if in the wrong place at the wrong time it won't start. Check that the timing marks to and bottom are correct, the belt could have jumped.

Is it back firing into the inlet when trying to crank? Like a loudish popping noise.

97 grand am wont start

It sounds as if you still have a problem with the anti theft system. Possible loose switch wiring in the dash or it was programmed and cycled incorrectly.

Pontiac Shutdown

I would start with the crank sensor. Have you scanned it for codes? When it dies will it start right back up or do you have to wait till it cools off?
