How do you open the petrol flap on a nissan micra 1995 n reg 1.0. I can't seem to get it to open, I have had an micra before and normally you just press the flap and it opens then you open the petrol cap, but I can't open the flap to access the cap, please can you help

When you get out of your car at the petrol station do you lock your car before trying to put fuel into the car? I say this as I made the same mistake with a car of mine. Sometimes the petrol flap locks shut with the central locking. Just a suggestion and such a simple mistake to make. Good luck with resolving it. John :o)

There is a cable going to the fuel door. You'll have to pull the carpet back along side of the fill cap. Tie a string to the cable long enough so that when you pull it out, you can attach the new one to it and pull it through! It probably run down the rocker panel or inside side panel! My 1995 nissan Maxima Ge has a problem starting when it is hot and also cuts off after accelerated after a stop, any help would be greatly appreciated.
3 easy things to check, 1 check the distributor cap , look for any build up of carbon deposits 2. check the rotor,, normally you can lightly sand the front of it and clean it up 3. if you know how, spry some carb cleaner into the throttle body opening , you don't need much ,, move the flap open and clean that too,,
