Question about 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee

1 Answer

My 95 jeep grand cherokee with 133,000 miles allways serviced on a regular basis feels slugish while accelerating. Once the car gets moving it is fine could it be a bad coolant temp sensor?

Well thats possible if it acts different at different temps you might want to check catalatic convertor and possibly your fuel pressure

1995 Jeep grand cherokee is missing while running. When it is under a heavy load (driving fast) it runs fine. When idleing and slow driving it spits and sputters.

I have the same problem on my 95 grand cherokee laredo. Sometimes it starts out fine and after about 10 miles it starts spitting and sputtering. Then after a while it seems to clean out and run fine again for a little while. Then other times it starts out spitting and sputtering at the begining. I changed the fuel filter and that was not it. It is a 4.0L 6cyc. Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Oil pressure drops to 0 in 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Does it act different when this happens???? If not do not worry about it. It is just the Oil Pump slowing down with the Motor and will not hurt anything. My 600 HP 95' Silverado does the Same thing and it is not a Problem

try changing the transmission fluid, or lifting your foot off the pedal and reapplying like u would if u had a clutch to get it to force shift.
