After driving for awhile (maybe an hour but not sure as I have not driven the car in about a year now) and generally it does not take as long on a warmer day my 1989 Trans Am GTA will shut down. If I wait for about 30 minutes I can restart the car. When it is cooler out I can run the car longer but it will shut down eventually. I have seen posts that it may be related to the distributor cap, ignition coil, and even possibly the mass air flow sensor.
