I have a 94 Ford F350 460 motor. It is missing out and I can not fiqure out why, can you help?
Unplug the injectors 1 at a time to listen to change in the way i runs, locate the cylinder that doesnt really change and inspect the plug, wire and if good then it may be a dirty or clogged injector, try addind seafoam to the gas and drive it for a while,it may smoke for some time but it should clean the injectors and valves really good.if it used oil alot before it may be carbon on the valves which seafoam helps clean them or you can squirt cold water in a spray bottle into the intake while running and the water explodes the carbon off the valves but it can not be really hot or damage to the valves will happen

what do you mean by missing out?
Check the EEC-IV electronic control module and do a search on the internet for problems with the capacitors on it. My 94 motorhome with the 460 was missing erratically about every 20 seconds or so at idle and under load on the highway. Changed every part until I stumbled on a post about the module problem. I had the module rebuilt and everything works fine now. The capacitor(s) leak out their fluid and go bad.
If you pull the EEC-IV module out and take the cover off, you can look for the tell tale signs of a bad capacitor (fluid ring on green circuit board around the capacitor and corrosion where the capacitor pins are soldered into board (green crud around them)
