Manual gear boxes do not have a dipstick , there is a bung plug on the side of the box , about 1/2 way up. to check oil level, umdo that bung plug the oil level is the bottom of that hole.when at correct level oil will just drip over the lip.

There is no dip stick on a manual gearbox only on automatics!
the oil level on a manual is checked by opening the filler plug on the side of the gearbox

Most manuels dont have dipsticks just a drain hole and a fill hole an the transmission case youll have to get a little dirty to fined it. on level ground you should be able ti stick a finger in the fill hole and fined fluid just below the hole. ps dosnt use trans fluid but gear oil ask your local parts store for the correct wegiht for your region and temp range.

My hold button flashes and seems like the car drags i have a 93 mazda mx6 what could be the problem

the hold light flashing is just like a check engine light but for the transmission. If your hold light is flashing it sounds like a selanoid went bad and your clutchs inside your transmission is coming apart.

Loose transmission hose

If its a tiny hose its going to be your overflow hose to your dipstick if not theres a outlet for a larger hose on the top beside the shifter. Yours auto or manual?

The butterfly at the air intake may be dirty. If at all possible remove the breathers leading to this and clean the butterly with carbuerator cleaner or something like it. There may be deposits and it is not breathing good.
