It sounds like there may be an issue with the battery or the electrical system in your 2006 Infiniti M35. Without more information, it's hard to give a specific diagnosis, but a few things you can try include:
Checking the battery terminals to make sure they are clean and securely connected.
Checking the fuses related to the electrical systems that aren't working (e.g. the headlight and dash light fuses) to make sure they haven't blown.
Checking the starter to see if it's getting power and working properly.
central locking unit may have a fault. could just be a dry joint on the board. they usually good boxes. but have seen them do this in the past. also can be a faulty fuse vibration can crack the fuse or fuse over time. so shoulld check this to.
There is nothign wrong with your car-when you turn on the headlights the car believes you are turnung them on because it is dark outside, so it automatically dims your dashboard lights for you (since it now thinks it's nighttime). Your car already has daytime running lights, so you don't need to turn your headlights on in the daytime-they come on automatically when the car is running. You can keep your dash lights dim or bright by adjusting the small black dial on the left side of the dashboard, whether headlights are on or off if you want to.
check all the fuses and replace any that are blown. also check beattery wires and make sure the positive wires are not touching anything metal.look for burnt marks or black spots on the wires too. also have the battery fuse/relay checked.
