1. Truck has a clicking noise up front on passenger side. We have already changed the relay switch on the passenger side plus the 4 way flasher, but it is still clicking. It sounds like a blinker and when you put your foot on the brake it stops. 2. The drivers side back brake light does not work. all other lights and blinkers work. Tried two new bulbs and still no go. 3. Truck had a security light on plus it would not start randomly and if I waited 10 - 15 minutes it would start... and I had a ignition sensor put on under the dash on the drivers side. The security light did go out and the truck worked fine for a few days...now everyday 2 - 4 times a day the truck randomly won't start. It always starts after 10-15 minutes of waiting. Hope you can help me

SOURCE: Blinkers

I'd try replacing the hazard switch - the relay for the turn signals is incorporated into it. My friend's daughter has the same car as your daughter, and after going through the wiring diagrams, that was the only candidate for causing the failure. We changed it and it fixed the problem.

I own a 2003 lincoln navigator. I have a problem sometimes where I go to start my truck and all I hear is a buzzing noise coming from my fuse box on the passenger side of the truck by the passengers feet....

Its the relay in the fuse box by the passenger side floor board. Remove the kick plate and its either white relay on the top (one is mounted horizontal on the right or rear position and vertical on the front or left. Its $6 bucks at Auto zone. You can switch both of them around and the truck will start and run till you get the replacement. Steve

Clicking noise from the flasher relay when i use blinkers

That's normally a good sign.

I'd just check them out, switch on the 4 way flasher/emergency lights and walk round the car. If they're flashing on all 4 quarters. Its OK.

Where is the location of the turn signal flasher?

I have a 94 Sonoma and to locate the turn signal flasher, inside, under dash, on left side is a plastic sound protector, mine had 3 screws holding it up, drop this down and straight in you will see a 1" round thing - this is the flasher.

1993 Dodge Shadow...left turn signal won't flash

If the fuses are good and the front and rear bulbs are good, change the flasher for the turn signals, even tho the right is working. If that doesn't fix the problem, it might be in the turn sgnal switch on the steering column.
If both bulbs are good for the backup lights and fuses are good, then the backup light switch, which is screwed into the side of the transmission has to bad.

Flasher relay location 1994 4runner

hi there. I have a 96 4-runner and the relays are under the hood, passenger side on the fender well. Just lift the black cover.

For the signal light, you have to pull out the 4 philips screws and pull the rear lense out to access the bulbs.
