My 2000 Nissan Altima seems to be leaking gas however when I park it I cannot find a visable leak. My car also loses power and when I come to a stop it stalls on me.

Anytime a power steering compononent is leaking it requires replacement. whether or not you choose to replace it is up to you. if you lose all power steering fluid you will lose your power assist however mechanical steering ability is still maintained.

check your coolant . (i have the same prob from a small leak), when u refill lift the front of your car the best u can & (while in park) remove radiator cap and bring idle to 3000 to get the air out . fill coolant in radiator and overflow tank .

it's your cluster go get it fixed before it starts doing major damaged

replace the front oil seal. first i would clean the engine with purple power (degrease etc.) then look at the engine and make sure the leak is not coming from above like possibly the valve cover gasket or from the oil sending unit. try to tighten the bolts on the valve cover and even the oil pan. you never know, you may get lucky. i don't know where you are but front seals are cheap but the labor on the job is what costs you.

No spec for torque. Bolts have shoulders. Replace gasket. Tighten the 2 center nuts first and just tighten the rest until they stop. You can tighten one and jump across the valve cover and do the other, but not necessary.
