if it cranks but will not start, there a couple things you can try,, cheak your battery cables make sure to get a wire brush clear them of all rust and corrosion the second thing is the gas pump may not be working properly there for its not getting gas to the right place for the engine to start,,also cheak all spark plugs and wires, sometimes when an engine doesnt start a spark plug could be the cause it can be misfiring or not firing at all so be sure to replace all old spark plugs with new ones, any thing you need can be purchased here>>>www.discountbargainprices.com

cheak all lines 1st then i would cheak fuel filter not pushing enfing to get in an feul pump test votage to speck

cheak for the theromsate switch ,might be not working

oil pres should rise as the engine goes faster, the faster it goes the faster oil pump pumps oil pres should also be higher when oil is cold ( oil is thicker) as far as # 2 cyl miss fire cheak spark plug is good 2 start. mybe coil wire. cheak it with ohm meter. is check engine light on ? might have to get it scaned

All tune up parts need to be cheaked first as the distrubutor rotor can do this as well and a clogged up fuel filter can do it too and if the cheak engine light is on then any of the reawons that it is on can do it too. That fuel pump sounds real cheap is it used? It goes in the tank and has an asscess door in the trunk under the back of the rear seat. Before you go changing the fuel pump I won't cheak the pressure or have it done as you change parts that don't fix your car when you do figure the part you need out your money might be too low to do the work.

Is the car missing or not running quite right, have a little more wiggle to it? Flashing check engine light is usually indications of a cylinder misfiring which could be caused by a few different things.
