MY SUNROOF WILL NOT CLOSE COMPLETELY IT REMAINS 1-I2 INCHES FROM CLOSING WHAT CAN I DO UNTIL I HAVE IT SERVICED SO THAT RAQIN AND WATER WILL NOT RUIN THE INTERIOR.... 2001 MERCEDES E-320 4 MATIC

In the trunk on the left side is access to the sunroof motor where you can manually close the roof.

I believe it is a 17mm nut. Also I think that the tire lug nut removal tool will fit.

hello ,the sunroof motor is located on the left side of the trunk ,you must remove the plastic cover and you will access to it ,just under the electric power antenna ,you can insert a box spanner to close it in case of emergency

it may be also a software needs to be reinstalled of the sunroof

hi,yes you can close manually,open your trunk compartment,left side,with cover,then is a plastic bolt,try to screw in ,then look the movement of your roof,ty

Something is keeping it from closing all the way? is the front of the roof up against the body? if so than the track is broken
