Check your blower motor resistor. It is commonly the part that the blower motor power connector plugs into. It sounds like the high speed element went first and you lost the high fan speed. If the remaining resistor element is broken, the fan will stop working. The resistor only have 2 elements; if they're both broken, it creates an open circuit to the blower.
It sounds like the fan is not turning. Did the fan motor make a lot of noise before it stopped? If it sounded normal and first lost one speed and then lost the other speeds, the problem is the resistor that sets the fan speeds. The resistor costs about $55 on line. It is a thumb-sized cylinder with four wires attached along the side. It is likely green in color. Search the forum Brickboard for details.
If the fan has been noisy for a while, and lost all speeds at once, the fan motor may have failed. This will be a lot more work to fix. Again, however, there is a lot of information on the Brickboard, along with links to private web pages where they describe how to replace the fan.
The blower motor fan is controlled by the blower motor resistor.Its the resistor which controls the fan on respective speed which you select.But if the resistor goes faulty,then it will not be able to set the required speed which you set for fan,so it works on high speed only.
In this case you will have to replace the blower motor resistor.
Check fog for the location of blower motor resistor location:--- see part number 8 in the diagram below.
The blower motor resistor is located next to blower motor under the dash.Its fitted with 2 screws and a wiring connector.You have to remove the screws and wiring connector and take the resistor out and place the new resistor in same position and connect the connector as well as screws.

You have got a defective blower motor resistor. Your blower resistor is located just to the left of your blower motor (which is located under the passenger side of your dash. You may find you have a carpeted covered piece of cardboard that is located on the underside of the dash (below the glove box ) if so you'll have to to remove it by removing the retaining clips, Now look up behind the glove box and you"ll see the blower motor and just to the left of it there is rectangular unit with a connector with six wires within the connector , the colors of the wires will be as follows (black and orange)(black and yellow)(two wire's that are black and white)(black and blue)and (black). the blower motor resistor is totally bypassed when you turn your fan speed to high ! The blower speed is controlled by the ground side of the blower. When you request any of the other three speeds the ground circuit is routed through the blower resistor which is made up of three resistors.( resistors reduce the current flow) and each resistor reduces a predetermined about of current.So when you request medium high blower speed the ground circuit runs through one resistor, if you request medium low the ground circuit runs through two resistors , and through three resistors to obtain low blower speed, Normally what happens is the blower resistor blows out the circuit between the fan switch and the blower motor resistor which results in the lost of all lower speeds,no different then the wire to the blower motor just being disconnected.Replace the blower motor resistor and you will in great shape .Thanks for using fixya
The fan speed resistor is the problem........when you are on full speed the current bypasses the resistor and this is what gives you the fastest speed from the fan motor.......on 1, 2, or 3 speed setting, it is directed through the fans speed resistor circuit
It is located in the air box behind the glovebox on the interior of the car passenger side
these systems use a resistor pack,setting 1 2 3 go through resistors to vary fan speed, 4 is fast speed-- no resistor in circuit. don't know where it is located but usualy in aplace it can get cool air, try follow the wires back from the fan motor to the switch.
blower motor resister has burnt out also check wiring going to your blower motor resistor these must have a good tight connection or they will burn if any sighns of being hot change the complete wiring pig tail to your blower resistor
