1994 Toyota Camry LE Sedan intermittent wheel/suspension wobble

1994 Toyota Camry LE Sedan intermittent grabbing and/or wobbling in right rear wheel or suspension. Don't believe it has ABS. Two mechs can't duplicate it or explain it. At first only at low speed. Today happened at highway speed. Seemed to grab slightly on road surface bump then loosen at next one. Finally started to vibrate/wobble so much had to pull of and get towed. At first thought it was cold weather problem, Today was 80 degrees. Low mileage 78,000?

I have Toyota 2006 sienna and front right wheel shakes or wobbles ... I have new front tires and balanced.. but still wobbles a little...please any thoughts?

Hi Scott.
Try switching the wheels from left to right side and see if the wobble goes with it.
If not, look for a worn tie rod end or other suspension component.
If wobble goes to left side, look for bent rim.
Cheers.

I have a wobbling back end seat leon 1.9 tdi 2008 plate

wobbling from the rear end can be from worn suspension rubbers in the control arms. Normally it is from belt separation in the tyres and bulges in the side walls
I take it that it is a front wheel drive with no diff action at the rear.
another point may be that the rear brakes are grabbing ( out of round drums or warped discs) that is causing the vehicle to react as if the rear is loose.

I changed tires cause of a bad wobble, problem solved, a month later it came back at 60-80 mph, gettin worse on my 94 ranger

Here's a long answer. It could be 100 things. But if your wobble is showing up at low speeds, look at the tread on the tires. Does it snake back and forth? If so you have a belt separation in the tire. If it's not a tire, you may have a suspension part that's bad. Or, more than one. Control arms, ball joints, tie rods, (inner and outer), bushings, and wheel bearings, and any one of them could be waiting to send you into the ditch, or worse. Many garages will give you a free check of your major components. Try them. If you can't or won't, jack up your truck so one wheel is in the air, grab the front tire with one hand at 9 o'clock and the other at 3 o'clock. Wiggle the tire. A very little play, is probably ok, but if you have more than 1 inch of movement, you probably have a bad wheel bearing or a ball joint or control arm. Now grab the tire from top and bottom. Try to move the tire up or down. You should have NO play, at all. Any movement is bad, probably a ball joint, but it still could be a bearing. When you're driving, if your steering wheel is wobbling side to side, it's a front wheel problem. If you just feel the wobble in your seat, it's a rear wheel problem. Don't let the problem keep getting worse. If you put used tires on, it's probably a tire. That, you can fix. Anything else I've mentioned, you can't fix without some very expensive tools, and an alignment machine. Good luck.

Front wheel feels like it's wobbling when braking

I had that same problem on my Toyota pickup once and replace the wheel. No more problem. Wheel must have had a certain warp to it. Normally though, this wobble you feel would be a burnt spot in a rotor. But you've replaced that.

What causes the car to wobble side to side at the get go

your suspension, or a bent rim,or a bubble, where your tire is separating. jack your car up, put a jack stand under it, spin your tire, watch for wobble(this will tell you,if its your wheel, or tire. while in the air grab the front and rear of tire pull, and push oppisites, then do the same with the top and bottom, there should be no play. if there is, its your suspension.

I have a pougeot 206 gti and it is knocking at rear on bumpy roads also found it to snake around fast bends, seams to be play on rear wheel

It could be wheel bearings, jack the rear wheel up and grab the top and bottom, wobble it, and if it wobbles alot, then the bearing has gone, or you may just need to grease them up.
It could also be susoension bushes( rubber or nylon inserts on the bolt points ) again, jack the rear up and look at the bolts that hold the suspension on and wobble the components to check if they move too easily( you will always have a small amount of freeplay ) REMEMBER TO USE AXLE STANDS AND CHOCK THE FRONT WHEELS WHEN WORKING UNDER A CAR, EVEN WHEN ON AXLE STANDS you don't want a tonne of steel pinning you down.
