Runs sluggish , just replaced plugs and wires,distributer cap

Was it running bad before you mucked about with it? let me know the details, please answer these questions for me, have you replaced the fuel filter? what is the fuel pressure, did you cross up the plug wires, what engine do you have? any system trouble codes?

Check ignition timing, check for proper advancing of spark timing... check for plugged exhaust , catylatic converter...
