You can use any fluid marked as power steering fluid. (not transmission fluid) Use dot3 brake fluid in brake systems. Don't use synthetics in brake systems unless system has been completely disassembled and cleaned.
For better service life, remove brake fluid from reservoir with a turkey baster once a year and refill with new fluid (no bleeding required) You can also drain power steering and re-fill every two years by removing return line to pump, allowing it to drain, then re-connecting and re-filling. Nothing lasts forever, but this helps it last a lot longer.

Town and country from pipe on passenger side firewall

Hi Mr.Downs.
Are you sure is only leaking when the vehicle gets warm? On checking the coolant level when the engine is cold and before starting is in a correct level?
Is it possible to be any drain pipe either if you do have air conditioning and running the air con then water comes out from that pipe and might you do have any dirt by the vaporator and gets the orange color.
Also do check for your power steering fluid,if there is any leakage
from the steering rack if it is close to that pipe and confusing you ?

Can i put dot 4 fluid into the power steering in a grand voyager ?

NO! Dot 4 is brake fluid. using this in anything but the brake system is catastrophic. Use only ATF+4 transmission fluid in the power steering system as directed by chrysler.

What kind of power steering fluid for 2008 town and country van

My 08 T&C requires ATF +4. This is per the manual and many online forums. Do not use regular p/s steering fluid like I did. It will create a winning sound and you will have to drain and refill the resivor with the right stuff to correct it. Hope this helps. ??

Van makes sound when brakes appled and turning Is

I'm not sure of what sound it could be making. However, keeping it simple and attempting to answer the question as asked: Check the power steering fluid first. If it's low, add power steering fluid approved for your vehicle to the proper level. Never use transmission fluid as it aerates (like shaking a bottle of dish detergent) and doesn't provide the proper protection. Your van is equipped with a filter in the power steering system.

If the power steering reservoir is at an appropriate level. I would have the front brakes inspected, and/or the Constant Velocity joints inspected, depending the type of noise.

Noisey power steering pump /2006 chrysler town & country

Check to see if the fluid level is low. Check to see if the fluid looks foamy or full of bubbles immediately after you turn off the engine. If the fluid is dirty/full of foam/bubbles it could cause the pump to be noisy and will need to be flushed out and replaced with new fluid.

2006 Town and Country: Loud Whinning noise when cold and a slow Power steering fluid leak.

the noise may be because your power steering fluid level is low when cold, as the fluid warms up it expands enough to stop the whine, you should have the leak checked by your favorite mechanic shop

2006 Chrysler T&C van power steering fluid is full but sounds low

Make sure u check the level with the car running. If the fluid level is still good and still have a steering wine. you have a fluid restriction. This would involve replacing the power steering resivior. The filter screen gets clogged and causes a restriction hope this helps.
