Can I swop the passenger door lock with the driver door lock of my Nissan bakkie

Check the locking solenoid / actuator in the door behind the panel, could be burned out or loose wire. It should take about 20-30 minutes to open, fix it and close the door panel if there's no major problem. Autozone might be able to help out with a solenoid.

Sounds like bad wiring, or bad door lock actuators. Check for power while locking/unlocking the doors.

The door lock actuator in that door is weak. Need to replace it.

I know this sounds strange but I believe the problem is in the drivers door. This is where the master switch is and controls the other doors. Have it tested or replaced. Hope this helps. Good luck.
