SOURCE: Nissan 3.0 Hardbody Turbo Diesel

Your description sounds like a waste-gate problem.
These are intended to prevent overpressure from the turbo and yours might be faulty.

The oil leaks may not be related to the other problem - Jeez, would love to own some vehicle that never leaks oil from somewhere.

SOURCE: diesel turbo with no power at low revs

this tells me that the injector timing is off just a bit or you may have a weak injector all together.

Where is it leaking oil ? If the oil is coming form the input sheft. The seal is bad. You need to rebuilb it or buy a new trubo.

Hi there i have a 1997 Nissan Hardbody 1 tonner 2.7 turbo diesel it is pushing oil through the exhaust and its blowing white smoke what could be the cause ?

You probably need a new head gasket and other gaskets. Oil and probably anti-freeze are leaking in to the engine works. The white smoke is almost always caused by anti-freeze.

Hie how can I eliminate balance shafts which are worn out badly on a nissan hardbody 3l turbo diesel 4x4

balance shafts are there to remove harmonic vibrations from the engine . to remove the shafts will cause premature failure of the engine
the balance shafts do nothing but balance and do not wear as they have only bearings to hold them staright

Ford moneo turbo diesle s reg

there is a pipe witch runs from the diesel pump to the turbo which monitors pressure. sometimes a thin membrane in the pump goes releasing diesel straight in to the turbo especially on tick over. eventually that diesel is sucked in to the engine along with all the other gunk where it starts revving up on its own rattleing and banging. i have come across this on lucas diesel pumps before
