asking YANKEE's (USA) how to fix any ISUZU not sold here ever, that it> ISUZU here died ( 2005 , 14 ago but not heavy trucks)
no car modes stated only the year, but books are by
maker Isusu, the model and last year, so there will be no free books. lacking such key facts.
2.5 = 2.5liter engine displacement , gasoline?
I do advice calling ISUZU in your unstated country and asking for a manual on this unstated car,
2.5L is no heavy truck so is a CAR (or light pickup)
any workshop manual will show the assembly positions for diffs so get a book that relates to your vehicle --front wheel drive , rear wheel drive or rear drive combination transmission diff assemblies or down such a manual from the net
no country
no car stated.
is it 4wd vehicle?
crown sounds like UK car, or India, or any crown colony?
the pinion and ring gear here.
first off the front and rear of 4wd must match.
does car have torque on demand feature, one more 4wd option.
all we know is 1993, somewhere on planet earth ,body class unknown.
1. disconnect the tail shaft & drain oil out of diff 2. remove both rear axles 3. undo all the bolts around diff center 4. pull the diff center out cheers
remove inner cv boot, just on inside edge is circlip which holds inner bearing joint into outer housing remove circlip and separate joint outer housing does not come out of front diff unless you drop or remove whole front diff assembly will have to remove whole stub axle hub assembly to remove drive shaft from outer wheel stub axle (hub) assembly
hi if it is an automatic you need to use dexron2 for transmision, if it is a manual you need 10w30 and for the diff 80w90 for the rear hope this helped
weather its diesel or V6 petrol you can remove small tin engine sump and oil pick ups then undo all 4 diff case mounting bolts to chassis one at a time remove and put back in only a few turns this then drops diff assembly down then install motor
works a treat!!!
you could be lazy and bend lip of tin engine sump over bolts in rear left side with hammer this works also but still is a bit of a struggle over that diff.

you have to undo inner cv boot and remove clip inside cv then pull out outer cv with shaft and inner bearing of inner cv,leaving inner cv outer section in diff.If you want to get out inner cv end, diff assembly must come out of vehicle then unbolt plate retainer on diff tube.
