Frequently the purge valve is located on near the engine or on the engine. You can locate it by the hoses to and from it. It will be fed by hose coming from the tank and from the valve a hose goes to the intake manifold. It also has a connector to it.

You will need to remove the right front wheel & wheel well liner. The canister purge valve is behind the cover. It should have two tube going into the bottom and one on the side near the top.

SOURCE: where is the purge valve located on a 2004 honda LX?

It is with a 2 wire Black connect located next to the throttle body. Locate the green cap on the evap hose and follow it to the throttle body and that is the purge valve.

SOURCE: location of a pcv valve on a 2005 honda accord

The general location mentioned is correct. However, unlike most PCV valves there is no hose connection to the valve. There is a single bolt that attachs the PCV valve to the valve cover. Loosen the bolt, then remove the PCV valve from the valve cover. It is inserted inside the valve cover. Very different from most PCV valves as far as attachment method to the valve cover.

SOURCE: where is the pcv valve located on a 1999 honda

Under hood, center, upper engine area, top of engine, MOUNTED IN THE VALVE COVER (probably has a rubber hose connected to it, coming from a place further back toward the firewall) It usually is removed by simply pressuring it upward out of the rubber gromet that it resides in.
Hope this lets you find it.

SOURCE: were is pcv valve located on 1989 honda accord lx

You PCV will be located on the center, rear engine area. It is just below the intake manifold, between the block and intake manifold. The valve is housed in the vacuum hose that runs halfway into the engine.

Check engine light is on, code 1457, I replaced the gas cap...still won't go away?

This is a common problem with these and a few other Honda cars.

The code means "Evap Bypass Solenoid Valve Failure"

The solution is to replace a few parts dealing with the EVAP system.

You can call your local Honda dealer, as there is a TSB (technical service bulletin) on this problem, and it may be covered under warranty.

The TSB number to give them is 03-001.
