may have problem with selonoid on top of starter jamming give it a tap with hammer then try

Nothing by either party was said about the starter. The battery and wires can all be in great shape, and if they are and the owner hears a clicking noise when trying to start it its a pretty good bet they may have a starter that's locked up.
One good 'ole trick on those starters. If you can reach the starter, a couple of sharp rapes with a hammer will have it starting again, then you know it time to replace the starter.

Triple check your battery cables on the battery end .. esp the positive + side.. Side post batteries are notorius for that

their is no fuse for alternator.you can go to the auto parts store and they will test your car for free. And tell you weather it alternator or battery. But it sounds like a battery issue

Try smacking the starter with a blunt object ( hammer or something ) Smack it several times while cranking. It may free up. Listen for the click at the starter. Its prabably a bad starter. Common symptom your describing. If it does start replace the starter.
