SOURCE: code po705 mazda protege lx shaking rough start

The Code you refer to is P0705 Transmission Range Sensor Circuit malfunction (PRNDL Input). It is a possiblility that because this code is present, this sensor is malfunctioning. If it is malfunctioning, that means the engine needs to "guess" the value that this sensor is responsible for. In most cases when this happens, the engine will go for a value that ensures the car runs. The engine will not try to run smooth or efficently, it will only try to run. It is my guess that if you have the sensor checked and replaced, the problem might be fixed. Please let me know if this answers your question and please rate my response. Thank you

SOURCE: how do i adjust the

Hi

You do not need to remove the whole headlight assembly. From inside the engine compartment find the back side of the headlight assembly, first remove the power connector by squeezing the sides of it. This power connector is no bigger than a ping pong ball but is square looking and has a few wires leading into it. Then you have to pull back the round rubber boot from the back of the head light assembly. Remove the boot and lay it aside. After that push downwards on a metal tab wire that is bent in the shape of a small paper clip. While the tab is pushed down it also must pop backwards to clear the plastic notch that it is hooked into. I used a small screw driver. This same wire extends around to the opposite side of the bulb where it is hinged. This wire holds the bulb in its mount. The paper clip like tab you push on is on the side of the bulb that is away from the motor. The bulb will come out easily now. Note the way it comes out and put new bulb back in the same way. There are 3 square tabs on the bulb that need to go into the 3 matching notches inside of the headlight assembly. They keeps the bulb in the correct position. Inserting and positioning the new bulb does not require any force. Re-connect the wire tab mount that secures the bulb. Remember... fingers off the glass part of the bulb.

i have a 2003 mazda protege. this is the third time my check engine light has come on. the first time the car started to shake when i stopped at a light and the check engine light came on. i had a readout done and it said misfire. i took it to a garage and they changed my spark plugs and wires. 2 weeks later it came on again and my car started to shake whenever i stopped. readout said misfire. they fixed the coils. it has been 2 weeks since then and my car started shaking again whenever i stop and the light came on. what could possibly be wrong with it?

Obd2 code p0300 on mazda protege 2002

Just had one of these with a maxima, the code is multiple random misfire, when a misfire occurs, to start is do the basics, replace the plugs, check fuel pressure, clean throttle body, and coolant is topped up. also I have seen if the O2 sensor is not working correctly is can cause a misfire, you will need a scan tool to look at what the O2 sensor is doing, o rby back probing the sensor (don't damage the O2 sensor wires). If it wires replace them as well, if it has coils they usually dont give that code if one fails, it will pinpoint that a certain coil if one fals.

Mazda Protege 2001.. when i start the engine. it makes a single popping burst. and when i speed up, the noise continues and fades down after a while.. can anyone suggest the problem please..

sounds like a misfire. first check it intake hose from the air filter box to the throttle body. check it for cracks. remove it if you have to. air entering the intake behind the MAF sensor causes improper air/fuel mixture which could cause your misfire.

if all is well it could be in need of a tune up plugs/wires (don't use aftermarket wires get mazda ones) coils could also be weak.
start from plugs to wires to coils, after checking the intake hose.
