Yes, make sure the correct torque is applied by using a real torque wrench. Tighten each bolt in crisscross pattern. In other words tighten one bolt and then tighten the one across from it. And the next one across from it.

the dish in the center of the flexplate should protrude tword the engine, also check for excessive torque convertor run out, as that can crack the flexplate

possably a baring inside your gear box, if you know how 2 change a gearbox, good stuff, but first take it to a garage to see if they can pick up on it, before you do any work

You do not need to worry about where to bolt. One tip though, do not tighten the tC bolts until they are all in place. If you tighten one then you will not line up with the others. The exception to this is when you look at your fly wheel, see if one of the tc holes is slightly smaller than the others. If it is put that one in position for your first bolt. This will line up the tc for the other holes and you only have to turn it once and can torque the bolts down as you go around.
You do not need new bolts unless you damaged the ones taking them out. I owned an AAMCO and managed trans shops and never had to buy new bolts unless I lost them or they were rounded out getting them off.
Hope this helps

G'day mate , misallignment, make sure the bell housing is in good clean servicable condition also when the box is out check that the bell housing to gearbox is flat clean and serviceable by removing the torque converter and unbolting bell housing if it is posible also is the starter straight and in to the correct depth for mesh as if it is to shy or in to far it will put pressure on the flywheel as the torque converter has room to move in and out but the flywheel is under great pressure at that point and will not like being flexed bac to accomadate a deep starter, on the bell housing bolt holes there may be hollow dowels in the bolt holes make sure these are clean, in the right place and actually there, hope this helps

I'm having problems as well. I've never been on your side of this sight but I may have to check it out. It's almost 2AM on Sunday morning and I received both your messages about an hour ago. So how can I help?
