Hi there. I have a 2006 Jetta 2.5 l. I've recently had misfires coming from 4 of 5 cylinders and it sounds tingy in exhaust. But when I clear the code while running it runs good, no tinging for a minute until it comes back. I have changed the coil packs. Thanks

it is always a good idea to stay with o.e.m parts and yes there is updated parts in the newer coils. and yes the M.A.F will also cause misfire faults but will not make check engine light flash or make car shake and shudder. also check you wire harness going to your coils make sure your ground wires are not cracked. That could be the main culprate. good luck hope this helps

gm has a problem with this from way back. double check your spark plugs and if they are not ac delcos, change them. ive seen this time and time again swearing, myself, that there is no way that the plugs would cause this issue. it always comes up with random misfire and usually another 1 or 2 codes misfire codes. put in ac delco, no more codes. let me know
