My 2000 Dodge Durango R/T has a no-start issue. I got it from my sister after she let it sit a couple years.. before that it ran but would only get a 'couple miles' down the road (her quotation) & then it would shut down & wouldn't restart. after this happened to her a few times she parked it. Now it will not start at all after sitting. We tried jumping it and it'll turns over, but will not fire up. We tried dumping gas down the throttle body whilst cranking it.. still nothing, just keeps cranking. What could the problem be, and how do I fix it? It has 155k miles, if that matters any. Thanks in advance..

I would start by inspecting and cleaning the battery terminals.
