CONSIDER CLEANING BATTERY CONNECTIONS. COULD BE STARTER. TRY JUMPER/ BOOSTER STARTING TO SEE IF HIGHER VOLTAGE

You may have burnt starter solenoid contacts, do you hear a click when you try to start engine? If so the problem is the starter.
SOURCE: My 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8 won't start, battery
could be starter or solenoid. you can test them with a voltmeter and see if they ohm out. which means there is a clear path with some resistance.
the clicking that you hear is coming from the starter relay. sounds like your ignition starter switch or ignition lock cylinder is bad.
SOURCE: Jeep Compass turns over, won't start
check for power at the fuel pump if no power check relay's fuses ect If you have power at the pump then most likely bad fuel pump. And yes they do quit just like that
Testimonial: "Thanks! We are picking up a multimeter to check it out!"
SOURCE: My 2002 Toyota Camry won't
well in this case it can be the starter. you need to check if you get power to the skinny wire on the starter wile you crank. if yes then it is the starter. in worst case if you drove the car with out oil or if it got over heat too much. engine could be locked.
