(06 Pontiac torrent V-6) Just Got oil change couple days ago. Light on but with tool thing by it and shifting weird not bad or all the time, also got to start it twice sometimes and if it almost starts first try, give it little gas then it starts. What could this be?

Sounds like there is an oil pressure problem. Now this can be due to several factors. 1. low oil level in car
2. bad oil pump
3.bad oil pressure switch /sending unit
4. last but not least check oil filter and make sure its not clogged.
worn engine main/connecting rod bearings.
have pressure checked with a manual guage at oil pressure switch for the correct pressure. If that's good then the switch is bad and problem solved.

I belive they didn't reset the oil light timer. I belive the sequence is 1. key on (not acc with engine off)
2. step on the brake pedal 5 times within 10 seconds. 3. key off. 4. start car. 5. check if the light went out. you may have to try it a few times to get it.

The radio will have to be removed from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or engraved in the metal casing.

is it low on oil? if so it could be an internal oil leak (wouldn't be able to see) or external but you didn't say anything about that... if level is good replave the oil pressure sensor
