Describe how to remove the seats from a 2002 dodge stratus

There is a switch in the belt lock. Usually it goes bad. You can't get the switch without the entire belt. Dealer or junk yard. You have to remove the seat to get to the belt bolt.

Yes your Stratus does, it's located under right front seat, remove seat to access amplifier.

There should be a small button on top of of the seat,
where the headrest bar go's in. Press and hold the
button while you remove the headrest.

The thermostat is located at the upper radiator hose end of the engine. The hose will connect to a housing that will have to be removed in order to change the thermostat.
While you have the thermostat housing removed, make sure you flush the old coolant out and replace with new.

I think you mean the harmonic balancer, which is the pulley mounted at the front of the crankshaft. (You need to remove the engine and all of the pistons to remove the crankshaft itself.) Check your local parts store for a harmonic balancer puller -- I got one from NAPA for about $75 that allowed me to pull the balancer without removing the radiator/condenser.

There are two bolts that need to be removed. You can identify them by the washer sitting underneath them. Remove the plug going into the lamp. Then, pull out (it will probably have to be forceful) the entire casing. You will see a large black ring. Remove this and then you should be able to pull out the light plug. Insert the new bulb and just put everything back together.

Dodge Stratus fuel filter location, 2001-2002, access top of the gas tank from under the rear seat. Remove the sending unit with filter attached, replace in reverse order of removal. I found having plenty of lighting in there made a difference. Be careful of the gasket and seals and they can be re-used, dont bend the sensor parts or your gas gauge will will be FUBAR. Use proper tools for removing the retaining ring, don't get stupid and start making sparks with a hammer & a screw driver.

the spark plugs are probably in the same place they've always been in...(sorry).

you probably have a cover over the motor and that will have to be removed to see where everything is.
