Probably not the fuel pump because it has pressure to start. run the fault codes and check for a problem crank/cam shaft position sensor

I would suggest you have it towed to a qualified repair shop before you start replacing parts you don't need , because it real obvious you have no clue how to test .

could be Fuel Injectors, are bad ?
all you need is # 1 Fuel Injector, to go out that will not get Fire, and Fuel Mixture to Spark Plug.

SOURCE: how to replace the egr

Dont bother just make a seal off gasket from a coca cola can ,it will run better without the EGR valve and still pass the emmisions test with it blocked off

SOURCE: My bmw 320i e90 2005 only cranks but won't start

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

Will a bad pick up coil stop a 1999 dodge Durango from cranking

It wouldn't stop the engine from turning over while trying to start. But it can make engine not start or run poorly

I have a 2004 dodge durango 5.7l with the hemi, won't start

I would start by checking the basics which are checking for spark and fuel. If you have a gauge, check to see if you have fuel pressure when the key is turned on. If you have fuel pressure, check for spark. Chrysler products are known for the crank shaft sensor to go bad and cause a no start. Also, if driving for a certain period with the pedal depressed at the same speed, the throttle position sensor will stay at that position if stuck and will cause either and driveability problem or stalling. You may wanna look into replacing or at least checking that. Good luck.

Suv turned off without any warning, started right back up with no problems. 2005 durango hemi 5.7 engine

How many miles, and are you the original or 2nd owner?

There was an issue with the engine computer on some of the Gen 2 Durangos that caused engine stalling, and the dealers do a software update to remedy it.
