Flickering Daytime Running Lights

I have a 1998 Chevrolet z71 and the daytime running lights flicker on and off all the time. I have talked to many mechanics and no one knows what to tell me,they have never heard of this.I have replaced headlight relays, bulbs, and looked at fuses.Nothing works! Someone told me to push my emergency brake down one notch and it will stop, it works but I don't want to run around with my emergency brake engaged.Has anyone heard of this problem?

You need to check for loose wires to the bulb sockets or a loose wire to the ground of the truck.

1998 Lumina lights don't work at night! The lights work during the day but not at night. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Theres a sensor in the middle of the dash by the front windshield that detects sunlight and triggers the automatic headlights. The main headlights and daytime running lights might be on a different circuit, in which case they daytime running lamps would turn off at night and the main headlights would turn on, indicating the main headlights arent working and the daytime running lamps are working as intended.

I would check all the fuses related to headlights, check the bulbs and check the switch, then last the light sensor on the dash.

Headlights also come on now with daytime running

Daytime runnning lights mean that the headlights are on in the daytime. On my 2005 MAlibu I can turn these of by truning the headlight swithc from auto to off.

Headlights and dash lights are flickering. Pleae help.

First check your baterry terminals, make sure they are clean and secure.
If it's your daytime running lights that flicker, check the DAYTIME RUNNING LAMP MODULE
If it's headlights, check the switch.
I hope this helps
