SOURCE: 2002 HONDA CRV COLD ANTIFREEZE LEAK

this happens alot on older vehicles most often times because the coolant hose shrink and expand around a fitting. try and tighten all coolant clamps. this often is all it takes to solve the problem. you should also look to see that all seals around heads of engine show no seepage

SOURCE: 2002 honda crv air filter change

Hi!

Can you specify if you are referring to the engine intake air filter or the cabin air filter?
If you are referencing the cabin air filter, the attached youtube video should help.

I originally created the video for the Odyssey, but found out after looking at my dad's CRV that it is essentially the same procedure as the Odyssey, and have also noticed that the same stands true for most Honda vehicles built between 2005 and 2009.

Happy motoring!

Where is the etcs control relay located on the 2014 Honda civic

Not sure what kind of work you are doing, but I may save you time. When working on my friends 2014 Honda Accord with electronic throttle issues, you must clear all codes in the engine computer before the electronic throttle system will work again. We spent a couple hours searching for fuses and relays and shorts to figure out why his throttle was no longer working and had lights on the dash. Once we finally cleared the codes, everything worked as it should.

Main relay location honda crv 2002

It is located in the relay block under the computer behind the glove box. Most likely the transmission needs to be flushed. As transmission fluid ages it looses its ability to build pressure especially once it heats up. It is possible the transmission may need more but this is the first step. Only use Honda or Honda equivalent fluid as others will likely cause damage long term. If I can help you further, please contact me on https://www.6ya.com/thericepatch

Error code P1659

that is it, no other failures or DTC. on car.?
no driving symptoms?
as always, check all fuses!

p1659 = the electronic throttle control system (ETCS) control relay malfunction

aka a relay used in the drive by wire system

"When the voltage from the ETCS control relay is not detected for a set time after the ETCS control relay is turned on when the ignition is turned to ON (ll), or when voltage is not applied for a set time when the throttle actuator (thing that moves the butterfly valve inside throttle body based on gas pedal) is operating, a malfunction in the ETCS control relay power switch is detected and a DTC is stored."

I wouldn't worry about it if the light went away
if it comes back its most likely a failing relay
