SOURCE: 01 kia optima manual tranmission fluid fill plug... Where is it?
I just did the same thing, I had to remove the air box to get to the reverse switch on the transaxle. I removed the switch and filled the fuild there.

I don't know if there is a fill plug. I just use the level plug located on driver's side right above the inner CV joint of the half-shaft (axle) to fill it. A piece of flexible tubing connected to a funnel works well. The drain plug is fairly near the center of the bottom of the gearbox housing (behind the bell housing). The level plug has a 24mm, fairly flat, hex head, and the drain plug is a recessed plug with a 3/8" (?) square hole (for a socket handle).

there are two places under on the top of the transmission there is a small sover that you have to pull off with pliers just put a little in there its just to start lubrication then under the transmission there are two bolts the higher one is the fill and the lower one is the drain make sure that you drain what is left before filling with new. i reccomend penzoil manual transmission fluid.
No , no inertia fuel cut off switch . Check fuel pump relay in the under hood fuse box , also check fuel pump fuse 10amp located in the passanger compartment fuse box . Also if the PCM - engine computer doesn't see an input fro the crankshaft position sensor it won't energize the fuel pump relay . So check for spark too , if you don't know how , there are videos on youtube . You can also check out a wiring diagram for fuel pump electrical circuit at http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html
I don't know the answer but I suspect no. That would be a very unusual fitment on a manual tranny.
