Where are the freeze plugs located on a 2000 Chevy blazer.

i am working on a s 10 of the same yaer and problem i will post my results after tomorrow when i have finished the job i bout this truck cause of the forum i own one that is a great one and this one is for experimental purpose i will let u know so far you cant lift the motor with a jack or a hoist so we r going another route in the mornin

It is mounted on the RH inner fender under the hood. It's a black metal box with fins on it and a few large wiring harnesses going into it. You MUST have the battery disconnected when you hook the new one. Good luck

It is located under the hood on the right side (passenger side) of the engine compartment. It's right behind the coolant recovery tank with the computer on top of it. It's in the cooling duct housing almost touching the right fender, where it says cut here for service, get in there and it's mounting screws will be visable.

It is located on top of the valve cover. Buy the new one and you will see what it looks like, then you will pull the hose off of it and put the new one on, 5-minutes at top to do this job.
