SOURCE: abs light/traction control light
You can check out what the trouble code is by pushing and holding the information button and the up arrow (right side of instrument cluster above the radio) until all the instrument clusters light. Press the information button (last) to enter test mode. I've had an error C1234, meaning Left rear wheel sensor fault. I found the problem to be a corroded connector under the chasis just under the rear left door about 2 feet in. I had to by-pass (replace 1 wire due to corrosion at the connector.
SOURCE: ABS light and Traction control light stay on.
That "grindy" feeling is when the ABS kicks in. It's only suppose to activate when you slam on the brakes and the wheels would normally lock. Instead, ABS will very quickly pump the brakes on and off, to prevent the wheels from locking (making a giant skid mark) and stopping the car more effectively. Generally this only happens if you slam on the brakes or loose traction due to rain or snow while braking. If this is happening often and the brake light is on, on the dash, then you need to get this checked out by a qualified mechanic ASAP.

The ABS sensor is a speed sensor also for Traction Control. This is why both lights are on , One of your front ABS sensors are bad or disconnected, or has a pinched wire.

Had it at the dealer's and they said no trouble codes and it didn't happen when they drove it.
It's a hard guess with out any codes...Most likely is a ABS system issue and you normally get traction and stabilitrak light come on...if it keeps coming on you can get codes read for free at auto part stores like Autozone and O'Reilly.
Thanks
