Are you sure it's the fog lights and not the daydriving lights? Nowadays new vehicles have daydriving lights on by default and can't be turned off.
However, if you never had this problem before on this particular car, then please open the doors, open the hood and remove the lines from the battery, leave them off for a few minutes and put them back on.

How to Change the Bulb in your 03-07 Cadillac CTS Fog, Daytime ... Do you guys have video for replacing the turn signal bulb in a 2006 STS?Missing: h
Perhaps, but your replacement of a headlight bulb would not have "fixed" the other light outages, unless there is a sensor that can tell it was out and therefore, shuts every other light off until it is fixed. A little more likely is the action of moving things to replace the light temporarily "fixed" a bad connection at or near the bulb socket. If it happens again, you will have a clue to the location. It may also be some effect on the headlight relays.
remove bolth battery cables and hold them togeather for 10 sec it will reset the light but if thares a problum it will come back on. you should realy take your car to a shop and let them read the code and fix the problum
I'm no expert, I recently purchased a 2003 vibe. I noticed the automatic headlight's sensors can be super-sensitive, about an hour hours before dusk they'll kick my headlights on (when the sun is still shining!), or sometimes when I go into an underpass, and then sometimes they'll realize it's light enough and turn themselves off. This would cause your dash lights to go to the 'headlights on' mode and turn the headlamp signal on, the intensity is controlled by the dimmer/dome light control on the left side of the dash. Check to see if the dimmer is down too far, as this could cause the lights to dim when the automatic headlights turn on. It's also possible that the dimmer is not working, thus no power is getting to the dash lights through the dimmer. Try testing it by starting the car in daylight, then manually turn on the headlights, then adjust the dimmer. Like I say, I'm no expert, just guessing because I've noticed it happen similarly on my Vibe, but my dimmer was at half-way, as I like it for night driving. Someday, I'd like to disable the automatic sensors and DRL.
Had the same problem on a 2003 vibe- finally dianosed as a fried headlamp module then needing to trace back and find a short in the electrical that blew headlamp module . Module $ 170. Labor to replace module 2hrs. Labor to trace short 4 hrs??? Dealer charged me $900- .
If anyone has info on how much time it should have taken. I would appreciate the feedback
