Look for crack or proven connector to the pipe going to the fuel tank do you know if you have inline filter or modification to the fuel system? If not look for cracks if yes check all connections and make sure they all very tied and I don’t recommend driving it till you find the issues.
You may be able to narrow you search by starting it and try to follow the smell if you can or follow the line and check. Hope that give you an idea to start troubleshooting and help. God bless
Where is your fuel tank fill door? Near the driver-side rear wheel by any chance? That's where I'd start looking for loose vent tubes or corrosion in the filler neck, etc.

the first thing to do is look under the car at the plastic canister the vaper recovery system it is in the rear some times it is coverd by a sheild the vacuume hoses are bad if you smell gas and that will turn the light on it works off a pressure senser on the tank check all the hoses

I can't answer the question about the gas fumes, but I had the same problem last year with the "Service Traction Sysytem" message and the Trac and ABS lights coming on in my Impala. Mine turned out to be because of a bad wheel bearing, that was causing the ABS and traction system not to work. I'm not sure if you've experienced this, but another thing that would happen with mine was that I would go to brake and have a hard time depressing the brake pedal, almost like it was pushing back. That is the point when the Trac and ABS lights came on.

Sounds like either a fan belt or a drive belt needs to be replaced...

I would take it to a shop right away. Do you see any fluids on the ground after you park or are you low on coolant or oil? This could be a electrical problem on its own. If you don't know what your doing don't go messing around with it.
