My 2004 Chevrolet cavalier right front headlight keeps blowing with a clicking noise under dash when I hit brakes unless headlights are on. What could be causing this to happen? thank you

Yes. Led headlights can cause service lights to illuminate. The Computer may be sensing a lights out condition caused by the low power draw of the LEDs

May is your ignition sensor, or need a maintenance mostly is just oil change and ask to reset ur maintenance light on da dash so it won't litgt up again till need maintenance.

if you hit the horn you should be able to thear the realy click, if not remove the horn pad and groung the wire, if it clicks the steering column has a bad ground, then remove the horn wire, its behind the right headlight unit lower down, and test voltage there, if good check horn ground, if all is good replace horn

Headlight relay is the power block under the hood. Black box, take off the cover and under the cover will be a diagram telling you where the relay is.

Change the head light switch.

To replace headlight, open hood and there will be 2 -13mm bolts holding headlight, parking light and turn signal light. there is also a spring clip under bolts. bulb comes out from behind once you get the whole assembly out.
plate light is just below where it says chevrolet on the back bumper. There are two 7mm bolts holding it up in there, take out the bulb and take it with you so you get the right one. the headlight is 9007 halogen high/low. goodluck

very possable a relay is bad for this problem check your relays under the hood should be a power source box under there that contains the relays and the lid on the box will tell you which one..

The ding noise is getting your attention the daytime running light flashing is saying no daytime running light are working.
Check engine means no headlights.
Check fuses
check to see if the headlights are plugged in.

replace the female side of the cig lighter also check the wiring . how many amps do you thing the gps unit is pulling if i rember correctly the fuses for the cig lighter and over head is 15 amps? . your other part opff the problem how many amps is the alt putting out and i do not mean voltage amps check that and you will see what iam getting at good luck kdc744
