If its black smoke id say u got a boost leak or the egr is holding open.
If its a diesel it could have blocked fuel filters or blockage in the banjo bolt holding the fuel pipe onto the pump there is a s reen filter there.

You can possibly put a kit in the pump but my experiacne is that it will still leak and you end up putting on a new pump anyway.Verify that it is the pump and not a steering line ,if so replace the pump.

if you use the wrong oil viscosity will have trouble starting isuzu
oil switch in them has to have pressure up before she will open solenoid let fuel in
