Take your father down to the local pub and leave him there then take the car to an accredited auto electrician to have it fixed NO honestly this is the best idea as it will cost less eventually to have it fixed professionally

Im not to sure if this model is fitted with accident stop. usually if you have had a bump it turns of the engine. until the code has been rest. sometime if it is this type you can take the battery off and leave it off for 12hrs and re put back on. and it resets. but not herd of them doing this. you see the bump could of lost or broken a sensor and driving with the case of it water may have got in to it and that is why it has taken this long for the problems to occur. would first start looking on the side the bump was. and check every sensor. abs is the sensors on the wheels.

I had a constant grinding coming from front passenger tire. Replaced Caliper and put the worn pads back on for a day, the constant grinding went away. It would still grind while braking, hitting a bump

It sounds like the brake pads are metal to metal, when you turn the flexing of the wheel makes them touch the rotor and grind. This can rarely be caused by a badly worn wheel bearing as well, have both brakes and wheel bearing inspected.

2005 Dodge Magnum low beams do not work

Obviously you have a connector which has come partially apart somewhere between the Headlights and the Headlight Switch. Most modern vehicles have several connectors between the Headlight Switch and the Headlights, Start at the Firewall Connector and work forward toward the Headlights making sure all connectors are securely mated. Another remote possibility is that you have fractured the "Low Beam Filaments" in BOTH Headlights. You don't mention how hard you hit the Speed Bump but if it caused the car to "Bottom Out" the front suspension it was a hard enough impact to fracture the filaments. You can use a 12 Volt Test Light at the Sockets for the Headlight Bulbs and see if you are getting 12 Volt power there. If you are in Low Beam position you have fractured the filaments. Check with High Beam too.

Rattles really bad over bumps sounds like the front end is gonna fall off

I have a 2002 Escape 3.0L with 120,000 miles and have had a couple of rattlers.
The first was a constant light rattle. It was the sway bar links.
The second sounds like what you've got. Occasional rattle, but nasty on bumps. The rear bushing went bad on the passenger side lower control arm the control arm was banging on the "frame".

Here is a picture of my new control arm. The bad rubber bushing was the "lowest" one in the picture, near the vise.

zeevert_32.jpg The control arm was the cheapest from the Ford dealer; maybe $50? Repalced it myself. Not too easy.

I went over railroad tracks and my low beams went out.

Hello,
From the description it would appear the filaments in both headlamp bulbs have blown/fused so inspection/replacement imminent.
Good luck!

I have a 2004 Envoy XL. The passenger side dim headlamp went out about 2 weeks ago and I replaced it. On Friday, I was leaving a meeting and I noticed my neither one of my headlamps were on, then I hit a...

This sounds like a loose connection/bad wire somewhere for the low beam lights. Can't really give you more information without seeing the vehicle, and wiring diagram for the circuit. Usually, things that go on and off when hitting bumps are connection/wiring problems. The fact that one of your low beam headlamps burnt supports this theory. Bad connections or wiring mean lower voltage, thus higher amperage at the bulb, motor or whatever it's running, which makes them burn a lot quicker.

Blower motor

I say it might not be the blower motor but your on the rite track!good place to start sounds like a loose wire check under hood on passenger side to see if your blower resistor speed switch is plugged in or it might been in passenger feet area above toes in heater box!
