That would likely be a dimmer switch problem.

Nope, tested the fuses, if it were the dimmer switch I shouldn't have power at the fuses box. I also tested the light sensor and it is opperating fine and controlling parking lights

Did you check the main light switch for burned wires.

Have had it out, but didn't check, ruled it out when parking lights and all other lights are working that are controlled by it. Everything over there works, I'm thinking it has something the 2 lights have in common.bthey are HID lights, so I can't just bypass. I think maybe a ground but not sure where to check

SOURCE: Jeep Headlights not working. High beam works

had the same problem on my 92....check under the hood on the drivers side, towards the front, there is a "junction box" with all of the lighting wires connecting from the switches to the lights. My wires were all corroded inside,so I cleaned the ends and bought a new box from the local electronic supply store. The problem has not come back.

My head lights went out but my parking light are still on what could be the problem

I would check the fuses first. Headlights are typically on a separate fuse then the parking lights. If the fuse is fine check and see if the Bulb is burnt out but it is rare for both lights to go out at the same time.

2005 impala lowbeams do not work at all. high beams, turn signals, and taillights are fine. i cut the negative and grounded it on the car and now the headlights are on but will not shut off unless i take...

ok put the ground back were you cut it and remove bezel near head light switch test powers in and out with 12 volt test light on low beam and high beam you may just have a bad head light switch make sure you have headlight power coming out of the swicth for low beams.

Do not have lowbeam headlights on a 2005 Hyundai XG350

yes,the low beam lights turn on when night time comes around, the high beams come on after you push the stick that controls the lights in or out away from you. not the turn signal stick but the other stick on the opposite side

My left headlight highbeam light works and the lowbeam don't why

the filament on the low beam burnt out. but the high beam didn't. You have a filament for each. 1 for high beam and 1 for low beam in the same light bulb. You need a new head light.
