Its the ignition module when hot cuts out but cold runs well
Your van has a system called OBD2 engine control system, have it scanned for fault codes, no more guessing. You need to borrow a code reader from Autozone or others the OBD2 diagnostic connector is under the dash on drivers side
Wow! A 96 Caravan. I wouldn't sink anymore money into it. Trade it in!

I had the same issue with my dodge caravan and after several attempts by the dealer to fix it, it turned out to be a broken wire. They replaced the relay and it would work for a while and then go blank again. Have the wires checked thoroughly.

Hi,
Yes, you are a very intelligent dude, that manifold that you re looking at, is the problem and the solution, this is one of the few problems where the problem is the solution.
Sol: remove the ****** out the way I bet you finish before finishing reading this.
Don't forget the new plenium original gasket from dealer, grease it with anti-sieze qrease, so on the next sparkplug change can be re-used.
Be careful with the electric wire that feed each fuel injectors.
Good hunting dude!!!!
sorry, but the manifold (intake) has to come OUT !!!!!!!!!
SOURCE: How do I change the rear 3 spark plugs on a '94 Grand Caravan?
Yes, these are tough to get at from the top. Put the front on jack stands or ramps, and you can reach them a little easier from the bottom. You just need to reach up where the exhaust pipe comes down, and you can even see what you're doing this way.
SOURCE: transmission input speed sensor location
It is located on the front of the transmission. you will see 2 of them one on the left under small transmission lines it is the input then to the right behind the radiator overflow there is the other one. Easiest way to change them is with a 1" deep well socket
