You might have a bad speed selector switch, or your blower motor resistor is faulty.

SOURCE: 1998 Ford F150. windshield wipers,interior

check to see if you have corrosion in the fuse box or the GEM module, by removing the fuse box completely, disconnect the battery, take out the two screws and two 8mm bolts that hold the fuse box in, it will take some maneuvering to get it positioned right to disconnect the two wiring harnesses from the fuse box, they are bolted through the middle. Once removed, take the GEM module off the back of the fuse box and look for what would be something like the same corrosion you would see on your battery posts, usually one of these components is corroded and causing the problem, my buddy got a replacement fuse box for his from a wrecking yard for only 15 dollars, with all the fuses and relays. If you have this corrosion, then you probably have a windshield leak at the lower left hand corner of the windshield, it lets water drip onto the fuse box and GEM module. Hope this helps, let me know

Blower not working 1998 ford escort sport

there is a fuse but check the blower connector for power, if you have power at blower it may be a bad blower resistor, this is located near the blower bolted to heater box, this is what sends the ground to blower to complete the circuit and control the speeds.

2000 escort diesel van.interior heater has stopped working, checked fuse and its not that.any ideas ? any thoughts.cheers

likely your blower motor. but take connector off at blower, key on, htr on high. should have power at connector. check with a test light. If power is present, its your blower. If no power, and fuse is good, it's a wiring issue or your heater blower switch on the dash.

Heaterblower not working after changing heater core 1998 S 10

Have you checked the fuse? The blower fan has a resistor that controls the speed in the air box by the passengers feet. When the heater core was replaced, something could have happened to the connection or wiring. Not sure why the radio would be affected by the same thing, could be a coincidence or something dislodged under the dash. Start at the fuse and go from there.
