2001 Silverado 1500...AC Blower Motor not coming on at any speed. Checked all fuses, all good. Motor tested good, so I replaced resistor and harness, did not help any. Whats next? SOLVED !

What's next? Auto repair shop. lol You check all the fuses ? How looking at them ? Did you check for battery voltage across the fuses using a voltmeter ? Did you look at a wiring diagram to see what all is involve in making the blower motor work. Just replacing parts is not how to fix the problem.

The fan on my 96 oldsmobile 88 will not turn why?

Barring the simple blown fuse every time my fan has quit working on all my cars it was one of the following. 1 the bearings went bad in the fan and the fan became sticky. you can tell this by rapping on the fan motor itself while it is turned on, if it starts then it is sticky and doesnt have long to live. 2 the motor burned out completely you can tell this by applying 12v from the battery directly to the motors contacts in the proper polarity + to + - to - . If you are not sure how to apply power to a motor to test it you might want to have someone that knows how do it for you. if it doesn't run pretty good sign the motors dead. 3 there is a fault in the wiring and you would use the test for #2 to determine the motor is still good then start checking the wiring and switches. I usually check in the following order, glance at the led embedded in the AC switch on the AC console to make sure the unit has power , rap on the fan housing because its out in the open on the firewall under the hood and im lazy, check the fuses just for the heck of it even though the AC unit LOOKED powered, curse a bit, apply power to the motor to test it. I have only had 1 car with mysterious bad intermittent AC wiring and 1 car with a bad switch the rest were all motors that went bad.

Blower not working for ac or heat

Remove the blower motor resistor and check it over.If it looks like it has a burn spot on it it is bad.Sometimes they will look good and still be bad.this is a common problem with blower not working. Before removing the resistor try tapping on the blower motor. If it starts to work then it is the blower motor itself. Also check fuse. They are under the hood and on the side of the instrument panel.Good luck.

Either radiator fan switch or AC system fan activate relay. Check fan switch or look for AC fan motor fuse. Wiring diagram would help.

No power to heat control or blower motor

R u sure u tested it correctly? There will be a 30 amp fuse usually associated with the blower motor however u need to look at the motor connections with a meter set to ac. These newer cars use a pwm type drive which is a pulsating dc voltage similiar to ac and should vary in amplitude as u turn ur control for speed. If u have that then ur motor is bad and has to be replaced.
