NOT a 4wheel drive...same sound and hubs/rotors are newish

Rubbing sound when turning rightonly while moving (not while stopped) when I turn the wheel even slightly to the right the sounds happens...it does not make any sound turning left at any speed..the sound gets louder at higher speeds...also I do know that my ABS unit is not operating properly even though the light does not come on. Okay...well I cleaned both sides front...removed all rust (wasn't much because rotors are about 1 and half years old)...and cleaned brake parts (also gave me a chance to clean the wheels really good)...the humming souncd persists...and I should say it is more of a humming than a rubbing...and it happens after 15-20 miles per hour and only while turning right...sounds like the sound large deep tread tires makes on off road tires (which I do not have and in fact the tires are new) Also checked the joints for looseness and everything seems tight

Sounds like a wheel bearing but to be sure jack up the truck and wiggle the tire from top to bottom if it moves then it is a wheel bearing

BA falcon 2003 abs light comes on at random followed at times with a grabbing grinding noise when stopping is it dangerous

probably yes
indicates that the wheel bearings are failing and the hub is moving and allowing the ABS sensor to contact the rotor ring on the hub
the grabbing and grinding will be the disc rotor rubbing on the calliper body

What would cause humming sound when turning right only

when turning one way only and making noise is most likely a wheel bearing. when turning it puts more pressure on one side and causes it to make noise.

Rubbing noise

This will probably be the front C-V shaft or hub bearing. When in 2 wheel drive the C-V shaft will not have a load on it. But as soon as you change to 4 wheel drive the part has stress on it. It can also behave this way when the Hub bearing is asked to bear Torque from the turning C-V shaft. Instead of having slack from the weight of the truck pressing the Hub bearings straight up, the bearings are rotating under Torque and any play is magnified.

The rubbing can be the rotor, running on bad bearings and hitting the brake pads. As the rotor is bolted onto the Hub bearing, the rotor will tilt in harmony to the bad bearings in the Hub. This creates a misalignment as one side of the rotor is tilted creating a high side.

Check the brake system of front right wheel. I am sure, the problem is there only.

My 2002 chevrolet 4wheel drive makes a noise alot like that of a break rubbing. It stops as the speed increases, I changed all four brakes and rotors and also changed the universal at the rear end. what...

Make sure backing plates behind front & rear rotors aren't rubbing on rotors. Jack up each wheel individualy & spin. May also be emergency brake shoes rubbing inside drum inside rear rotors.

My Advtrack, ABS and AWD all get Disableed

The sound could be isolated and may not be related to you not having 4wheel drive. You may have to inspect the speed sensors on the hubs of the wheels. You may have it inpsected and see if there could be a faulty sensor. Some 4x4 relies on sensors for 4x4 to work and these sensors also help ABS to work. Inspect the drive shafts as well. This may have caused the noise and may have affected your 4wheel drive capabilities.

Are rotors press on

on a 2 wheel drive you have to remove it with the front wheel bearings on a 4wheel drive it just sandwiches in between the wheel and hub

Auto locks for front 4x4 2007 f150 cant stop grinding noise

Are you under warranty? Make it the dealers problem if its eligible.

If the front hubs are grinding regardless of being in 2wheel or 4wheel drive it can be the hub bearings which turn regardless. If it grinds only when in 4x4 then the wheel shafts or differential or front driveshaft or transfer case is making the noise because all of these parts move when in 4wheel drive.

Four wheel drive

try turning the steering at a complete stop fullly left and right. If the steering is resistnt then you are in 4 wheel drive. vehicles in 4whl drive don't like to steer unless they are moving.

Squeaky sound front left tire and 4Wheel Drive will not turn on

the squeak could be brakes or wheel hub/bearing. most likely it is the bearing and hub assembly, i would not drive it , take it to you local service station and have then replace or repair the hub assy.
