2005 avalanche temp will not regulate regardless if the AC is set at 60 degrees or 90 degrees. Fan continues to blow cold air so the AC is good.

Check if the ac indoor unit is above 6ft if so it will not regulate as the cold air will not get high enough to make the thermostat work
another possible reason is that the thermostat has failed
get out a technician to do a proper diagnosis

SOURCE: 2004 Chevy Silverado AC is blowing warm air on passenger side.

You have dual zones that are controlled by temperature actuators the passenger side has lost its memory or has gone bad you can put it in self programming by disconnecting the battery for ten minutes then hook it back up start the truck turn the temperature control on but do not touch any other controls let it go thru the self programming for about 6 to 7 minutes then select your temperature you want if it still does not work properly you may have a bad actuator or a bad connection at the actuator

SOURCE: 2002 Honda Odyssey fan only works at high speed. The A/C compress

Usually when the blower fan only operates on hi speed, its because of a failed blower motor resistor. You still have hi speed because on hi, the power going to the blower motor goes directly to it, as opposed to the lower speeds, when the power is routed through the resistor, thus lowering the voltage, which in turn lowers the speed of the fan. The resistor is usually located near the blower motor itself, under the hood back near the firewall.

SOURCE: ford ka heater blows hot air all the time

Your problem is a faulty heater control valve. The design used on these vehicles allows for hot water to flow constantly and compete with the evaporator as there is no blender door. You have to replace the valve and possibly the control head. Meanwhile, you can bypass the valve to have cold air

SOURCE: 1999 cadillac deville 4.6 heater blowing cold

Besure that you have enough coolant. Your engine has head bolt issues and this allows compression gases into the sooling system, and this pushes coolant out and the heater goes cold before the engine everheats.... VERY expensive to fix correctly. There is a test to determine if exhaust gases are in the cooling system...

Dual-Zone AC Problem

My guess is that one of the hose's has a leak and needs to be replaced. A mechanic can run some tests to check if that's the case. Best of luck.

This model has a weak connector on the blower resistor. Remove the hush panel on the passenger side and disconnect the resistor. Look for signs of melting on the connector plastic near the ground terminal. The resistor may also have failed. I have the wiring diagram somewhere if you need it.

Buick Roadmaster 1996 AC not working

The linear actuator that regulates the blend of air between hot and cold was broken and needed to be replaced. That was my suspicion. Fuses were all good. Relays were all good. Compressor pump cycled. Freon was "proper". Dealership only charged about $400 in parts and labor to confirm my guess.
