Hi,

get the radio out and check to see if the antenna is plugged in or loose, try a different antenna , if it does the same thing when you plug the new antenna in then get another radio from ebay or junkyard. How to remove Hyundai Santa Fe radio

car dealers lie and lie and lie...now you know.  Can they replace the radio with the cheaper radio from the Sonata or Tuscon?  Call the area manager and complain.  Or you can burn mp3 cd's that hold about 120 songs each.

If your Santa Fe has a V6 engine 2.7L , it sounds like you have an ignition break down happening. You will need to renew all the ignition wires and check the two coils also for arcing .

if you are getting static, you need to replace the antenna. you can also add an antenna booster.... but chech the connection of the antenna inside the radio to make sure it is still connected.... if you have the origional radio for the car connect that back up and plug the antenna in on it and see if you get the tunes, if you do then it is a wire problem in the new radio with the antenna wire itself....hope this helps you out

Took out factory radio now interior lights and tachometer or radio dont work what is the problem ......is there a loose wire?

If your car has a sercurity/anti theft system you mave have activated it when you removed the radio. If so you may have to get the dealer to reset the system. Hope this helps.

Add stations to radio

try tuning to favorite station the push and hold down one of the favorite buttons for a few seconds, you should hear a beep or see the station number flash. if that doesn't work then there should be a button that has set on it. dial station, push set, push one of the favorite buttons and it should work.

I need the number of the light bulb that is in the fog lamp switch on the dash.

Bad news. There are no part numbers for those little internal bulbs inside the fog light switch or even the rear defroster switch. Mine have blown out on my 04 Santa Fe. I've been through several dealers here in Denver and all tell me that Hyundai does not offer those bulbs individually. You must buy the whole switch. I know that sucks. I'm now checking with salvage yards to pull switches out of salvaged Santa Fe's. Hope this helps!

Change the battery and the radio does not work? 2005 santa fe

You have an internal security code in the radio. You need to put that code in. If you don't have it, contact your dealer.
