Shifts fine otherwise.
With extensive experience in this model I would say check the fluid condition and level. If the transmission fluid is up to level and red, not burnt, then it is likely due to wear of the clutches and will need to be rebuilt to resolve the issue. There are 2 speed sensors on the transaxle. One is for vehicle speed and one is for trans output shaft speed. My guess is that you replaced the one for output shaft speed.

i would check the transaxle fluid first, if it is fine, I would then take it and change the fluid and filter. if this does not correct it, quite possibly the transaxle is faulty, sorry, I hope that the fluid corrects it for you, thanks

Did you change the transmission filter and gasket as well as the transmission oil before running your truck.
