Testimonial: "Not yet. It's dead in a parking lot between 25 and 30 miles away. I was hoping someone would have a guess based on the codes before I drive up there and accomplish nothing. I know it's possible, but I have a hard time believing the problem is unrelated too the codes it had the day before. It was only driven around 30 miles from the time I replaced the parts and cleared the codes. It ran better than it ever has during that time."

I guess I'll have to post this again anyway. It's been marked as solved even though it's anything but. Can a moderator delete the Testimonial? It won't let me touch it.
Did you research the code's on line an youtube ?
Do you know how to use a factory diagnostic flow chart for code's ? https://www.engine-codes.com/p2302.html
Look up your code's herehttps://www.engine-codes.com/p2302.html Test the electrical circuit's - do you know how to do that ?

Yes, I looked up the codes online. That was the reason I replaced the parts I did, that and they were due. I was just hoping someone had some ideas for likely problems before I have to spend over $100 just to tow the car. They are only going to let it set there so long and this could be a long process. There are people online that have spent as much as $1400 on parts with similar problems at the dealer and it wound up being an ignition switch.

My thought is to get a refund from the shop that tried to replace parts in order to secure your problem. The job of the shop is to diagnose the problem, not to replace items that may be the problem. Chrysler Master Techs are not trained to just replace parts, they fix the problem by diagnosing it properly.
You need to see a Chrysler dealership so they can attach a DRBIII and tell you exactly what is at stake.
I hope this helps you. I would be mad as heck.
I would not think the plugs and wires would be the problem because they would all have to fail at the same time to provide the symptom you experienced.
1. Get your money back
2. DRBIII
SOURCE: My 2005 PT Cruiser shows error codes P0508, P0688,
this obd2 trouble code table can help u understand the meaning of code.
po522, the possible solution:
The most likely cause is a faulty oil pressure sensor/switch.
for p0688, you can Check all the ECM fuses, if the fuses are OK try replacing the ASD relay.
Best Manuals I suggest you try one of those instant download manuals. My nephew bought one for me when my car broke and we could fix it all by ourselves with the manual costing $10. This website reliable-store.com is very good for this.
?Try it.
