SOURCE: loses power on steep grade

Sounds like you need a clutch replacement.

Try this. Go somplace where there are no cars, and no possibility of running into anything. Stop the car. Set the park brake. With the engine running, put the vehicle in 1st gear. Hold the foot brake pedal, and give it gas, and let out the clutch slowly.
If the engine does not stall real quick, the clutch disc is bad.

SOURCE: my 2005 chevy cobalt factory radio is locked

There are only 2 things you can try to fix this yourself: turn off the engine and open the driver side door (to turn the radio off). Wait 5 minutes, start your car.
If that does not solve it, turn off your engine, disconnect the car battery, wait about 5 minutes. Reconnect the battery (negative pole first - black connector) and try your radio again.

If neither one of these two fix your problem, I am afraid only a GM service center or dealership can fix the problem. The Cobalt is notorious for all kinds of electrical issues.

Thanks for using the fixya forums!

2007 Chevy Cobalt LT Door's unlocked by themselves.

Electronic's - BCM - body control module , sensor or switch input to the BCM is bad . Would need testing to find the culprit , checking data parameters to the BCM - Checking DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes etc.....The vehicle in the video may not have the same problem as yours but shows the electronics & electrical systems involved .

I can not get me chevy 2005 colbalt to go into gear , recently it has been going crazy with the locks going up and down how do i get this into gear?

Sorry but your best bet is to take your car to a qualified repair shop > The locks going crazy is more then likely a BCM - body control module problem , same with not being able to put the car in gear. There are probably DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in the BCM . You have no idea of the level of complexity of your vehicle , It could be a door ajar switch in put to the BCM . A software problem etc...

What cause's the key to be stuck in the ignition of a '05 Chevy cobalt

Faulty ignition switch. The same faulty switches that turned vehicles off when going down the road. Replace the switch/tumbler.
