When i start my lincon ls 2003 it will start then shut off and lights blink

need to take to tech to add fluid from access port at rear of trans with reed tool

1) Reset the ignition timing according with the instruction manufacturer.
2) Test the primary and secondary circuite from ignition system

If you think that cutting the wire is what is causing your car to not start. I would say that the solution would be to splice the wire back together.

you might need a new computer or a new engine for most of that part... or a second choice you can buy a used motor for about $500 to $800 and save your self the stress

check your transmission checked

Have the battery terminals checked - sound like a loose battery terminal. As u go over a bump it can cut out the engine then u dont have a good enough contact to run the starter. Get someone to try to crank as you wiggle the battery leads if it cuts the lights on the dash intermittently theres your prolem. Also check the ground wires to the motor.

2. check starter relay
3. check starter/and solenoid
